Hey All,
I recently received an SSG24 from a buddy of mine. It's well used but is in good shape. My buddy got out of sniping so that's why he gave me his SSG. However, the SSG is slam firing, roughly, 95% of the time that I try to rack the bolt.

I have been in contact with Novristch's tech support (Christian) and so far we can't figure out why it is slam firing. The only way I can get the bolt to rack properly is if I pull it back very slowly. But even then, it doesn't always rack right and ends up slam firing. Attached I will include a photo I took of the inside of the trigger assembly.

Does anyone here have ideas as to why this might be occurring and, if so, how do I go about repairing the rifle?

Thanks!

Here is a video of it's behavior: https://streamable.com/sal2z

Trigger doesn't look too bad. How's the piston look? If anything, adjust the trigger a bit to get more purchase/bite from the trigger seer to piston seer
Attached you'll find pictures of the piston, spring, and spring guide. They look fine as far as I can tell. Adjusting screw on the trigger assembly didn't fix it either. Any ideas?
