Using VSR springs in a Type 96 (or an M24)

Title.
Is this physically possible/feasible given the spring inner diameter and spring guide is compatible? Or there are cavets preventing such from being possible?

I need a spring that could run my Snow Wolf M24 at slightly lower than 2J……but a spring of power M120 for L96s is a pain in the back to find

Marui 96 or Maruzen?

I run VSR and SRS springs in my Maruzen easily.

Maruzen. (Or actually the Snow Wolf M24, but thing is somewhat compatible with APS-2 anyway)
