I know this is a very common issue with this rifle platform and wanted to get everyone’s opinion. After using the gun for a while when I pull the bolt back it will lock and it won’t easily go forward. I have to forcefully smack it and it will slam fire. I installed my stock jg bar 10 sears with no wear as I took them out immediately after I bought the gun. If it’s not the sears what could it be?

45* seers suck. That's pretty much the main reason they slam fire; along with a poor fitting spring guide make for a hard bolt push.

Idk if there are m28 90* deer trigger kits off hand. If the trigger box is full vsr10 compatible, you have plenty of options available to you
I have a fully built jg bar 10 and just want a second sniper to toy around with without dropping tons of cash

What bugs me is that the Echo1 M28 doesn't seem to be a single type of rifle, but two different rifles that doesn't share a single part between them.

Do you mind take a few more pictures regarding the sears and cylinder assembly?

Hate to say it but you should shelve that pos and get something better I started with one and parts are hard to find as nothing really fits this gun because it has a mix of vsr10 and l96 parts so if it's slamfiring then yes it's done unless you buy original parts but it won't last. I recommend a tokiyo maruie vsr10 highly reliable and easy to upgrade
