Tanaka M700 Police Pre-Ban

Sweet looking gun and very nice photo's.
My M700 was police version but I switched the barrel with a flutted one and modded the stock to accept it.
Love the MARS rail!

I have a question though.. The brass chamber is VSR conversion? I haven't any chambers like this! Cam you disassemble it and show it with all components?

Also the short nozzle works? From the photo's I can see the bucking is way too deep in the chamber! Can the nozzle reach it?

Yeah. Honestly I didn't notice it until you said something. The nozzle is about 8mm too short. The gap between the nozzle and the chamber is very slim. it's fitted pretty tight but not enough to restrict movement. Now you've got me taking the damn thing apart again! lol

Beautiful rifle man I have been looking for a new hopup chamber for my KJW M700P would that one fit well?

Only problem is the stock brass nozzle came right out (with a bit of a pull.) When I put in the KA Nozzle, there's no resistance as it's not milled to the correct dimension. Looks like I'm going to have to use loctite temporary to keep it in place but not permanently. there's a very very tiny gap that allows it to wiggle a very tiny bit, but it's enough to break it loose in the seat.

The stock nozzle pressure fits just fine.

Hi,

I recently install this MARS rail to my M700. There is no space for the original hop up dial. This mean the hop up is useless after I installed this rail. Do you have the same problem? Please let me know how to resolve this.

Please make an intro post, also please read the rules.

You'll have to make a hole on the mars and use a scrub screw or make a custom make screw long enough for that.
I've seen the MARS rail on many Tanaka's.

I plan on getting one of these scope rails and drilling a hole through it so that the TDC adjuster is concealed by the scope rail. You could try that?
