Okay, First and foremost I need to say I will not quit building sniper style rifles.

I have to ask how you guys feel when you have spent as much time as some of us go to get out gear ready, work for the shot, execute the shot perfectly and then the guy doesn't admit you got him.

I will keep sniping at private games and some milsim games but I am not sure how much I will keep doing it in open games.

The best way to knock someone down when they cheat is public humiliation. Being how I've only played at one field and being a respectful, helpful and playing their repeatedly so I've built a nice reputation there so people believe me when I call out a cheater. But if you don't have that type of reputation or people don't believe you a little extra sting to your shot is always an option. I don't mean fps sting but the placement of your shot, I don't agree with face shots since nothing is worse than getting hit in the butt cheek or the back of the arm...

Hi Builder. I know that you have made some really accurate guns with low FPS. Maybe you could up the FPS a little so it does have a little hitting power.
A lot of people may honestly believe that you did not get them even though you did. If you increase your hitting power this may improve. In saying this, if you tell a player that you hit him, he should just accept it and call hit. If you see it hit and you call it then nobody should contest it.

This has always been my approach. I group of younger players at my site were not taking hits. A quick chat to the marshals and they had a marshal follow them for the next hour, dispatching them to the dead zone. The marshal also hung around in the area we were covering to ensure fair play and watch our work.

I do believe not everyone that gets hit and shrugs it off is cheating.
Some players wear far to much kit and in the heat of battle may not notice it.
The ones that annoy me are the ones that may be sitting somewhere or moving slowly and have no idea I'm there in my ghillie, I shoot them they look around cant see me and keep going.

As said inform a marshal and the site owner/organiser, if they take no interest move sites. Im fairly luck as my local sites are getting more strict. If a payer is tagged as not taking hits from a few players they will get put on the watch list. If there caught by marshals they get a warning and if caught again blatantly cheating get a site ban.
Recently happened to a guy thats played on site for years and was even quite good friend with the marshals and owner.

He was warned one week ,was caught again the next week and banned that day.

I never call some one out, just mumble obsenities under my breath. If I hit them and its obvious they know but dont call, then I just take it and move on. The wort is hearing some one call across the field "CALL YOUR HITS".

If it becomes a problem, people usually mention it to others and others will have a similar story. Then we act on the issue.

In a perfect world, we wouldn't care if they called their hits or not, we'd just be happy that we hit them. That said, there is no way in hell I'm going to be satisfied with that, and I'm planning on getting a scope cam at some point to show to the refs who does and doesn't call their hits. (I seem to have plans for everything, but I lack the budget and time)

In the mean time, I really don't play often enough for it to really get on my nerves. The most I'll do is not help then with something when they ask for help, like not being able to get a piece of gear on right. I'll tell a ref, but at my field, that doesn't do a whole lot. Sadly, this is the only field withing a reasonable driving distance.

Maybe I'll make a field eventually. Like I said, lots of plans.

Life moves on and I still enjoy playing so guess I will have to grin and bear it.

Or........I can find them on the can field and have some fun......

I deal with cheating in a few ways.

1. Shoot them again.
2. If above does not work, aim for face.
3. If above does not work, get closer and aim for face or fleshy bits.
4. If fail still continues, let a marshal know.
5. Troll them, a lot and often.

Yeah, I earned an inappropriate nickname/call sign for it but generally worth it. On younger players I aim for sensitive areas instead of the face, like the inside of the leg or underarms. I don't like shooting people in the face, but if that is all you are giving me to shoot at then, well expect to be hit.

I've found that it depends from site to site, i play with a 370FPS (on .2) rifle and shoot with .4g bb's, my rifle is r-hopped so i can get the range, but sometimes people just dont feel it. Though the last game i played in the newest place i've been going to there was a birthday group and they were wearing bright t-shirts and the like, these guys were all gung ho and didn't take any of the hits i shot at them, luckily others were complaining too so it wasnt a problem. I suppose i wouldn't call anyone out for it either, it doesn't bother me too much, i'll just take the shot again.

It get's very frustrating when someone isn't calling hits. So I try to aim for the hands if at all possible. Nothing screams "I'm hit!" like someone flailing their arm after a well placed knuckle shot.

I usually shoot them again, if that doesn't work, I tend to aim for the neck/underarms where their vest ends. If their neck is covered up, then i'll settle for a mask shot.

I don't think that aiming for the face is the way to go. It is lowering yourself to their standards. (I know that face shots do happen but they should never be on purpose).

The only thing I hate more is when people don't stop shooting...
Played a paintball game and got shot so many times in the effing knees in 5 seconds... Little prick.

A shot to the thigh really smarts too. In the same game I mentioned earlier I took out their team captain with an upper thigh shot. Even at 70 meters and with a .4 he was dancing about a bit after and shouted "oh thank you", I don't think he meant it!

Go for as heavy as you can bb wise, aim your second round at somewhere that hurts (or the first for that matter) and if all else fails that's what the marshals are for
