Yes I know him personally. He was a mentor to me when I first started teching guns. He is a great man and deserves all the help he can get.

I'm no detective, but would there be any reason why he'd go to Utah? Did he ever talk about Utah or the surrounding states and experiences with people he knows near there?

One of our speculations is that he could be having an episode of PTSD involving a rare case of disassociative fugue. We don't know what's going on. He may have been kidnapped or even worse! We're trying to keep positive.

Does he have a history of PTSD? And...he probably won't end up in New England, but I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

He has been found alive and physically well in flagstaff Arizona. His family is traveling to help get him home. Thank you all for helping spread the word to locate him, details to follow...

I'm happy for you man. Please keep us updated, if possible.

At this time we are not sure from a medical/psychological standpoint what actually happened. All we know is that he was completely disoriented and had NO idea how he ended up there. His employer understands the situation completely, and we have also made arrangements for help with other things that may have went awry due to him being MIA. We are taking this one step at a time and have vowed to not let any of this change our view of him in any way as our friend. Right now we are just trying to get everything back to normal, and THEN investigate what the cause was.

At the moment, someone had mentioned that he curiously asked how long it would take to get to the grand canyon from pennsylvania on saturday of last week. It is possible that memory block may have sent him into an autopilot. Still, strangely, he had to fill up on gas and everything... It is a strange situation.

I would be more than happy to keep you guys filled in with any information I have, but I also need to maintain his family's privacy in the matter.
