So, I have been slowly upgrading my utg mk96 with pdi parts. Eventually I was going to purchase a Maruzen type 96, and put all of my upgrade parts into it. Instead of doing that would I be able to buy a Maruzen type 96 stock somewhere, and then pdi receiver, and outer barrel? Or does the Maruzen type 96 have more stuff inside that would make it not possible?

There's not much point into buying another stock that's the same thing. Your better off just buying the Maruzen and upgrading or doing what you said and buy it then switch parts.
Well I was going to completely replace all internals for it, so I didn't want to go out and buy a brand new Maruzen just to gut it for the stock. I just wanted a higher quality stock than the utg comes with. Do you know of any aftermarket companies that make them?
No I don't but maybe you can find a cheap bone yard one to buy then just take the stock and sell the rest if you can fix it up.[/QUOTE]
