Is my rifle maruzen or clone?

I recently bought second hand "Maruzen" L96. But I am bit suspicious about it, the barrel does not have any threads and kept in place with two anal screws, one is located under the scope mount rail, can any one please help me to specify this Type 96 rifle?

I can't get any of your picture links to work.

These "anal screws" sound interesting though

New links work.

I had a a Maruzen, many years ago before it was cloned, I'm sure it had threads on the barrel.

Hopefully someone with a similar model to yours can tell you what make it is.

I have a Double Eagle L96 which is a clone of a clone (Well MB01). It too does not have any threads on the barrel breach but it does not look like your pics. It uses a plate on the bottom of the receiver to secure the outer barrel. I guess you can rule out a Double Eagle.

I havent opened my maruzen in years, but I remember the barrel threading into the reciever. I know for a fact I didn't ever have to take off the scope mount to take the barrel off. Also something looks off on the stock. The washers that the bolts go into are super shiny, my maruzen is like black oxide bolts.

I'm pretty sure its a clone.
