What sniper rifle should i get?

Im looking for a new sniper rifle because my WELL MB-01 is very worn out with no upgrades and is not accurate. Im thinking of an TM vsr-10 G-SPEC but is it even good with a budged of 200 to upgrade it? I was thinking about the SSG24 but the price was too high with 475... So what sniper should I get?

Get a Jing Gong Bar10. They are better than the TM VSR10.

Well MB01 parts shouldn't be too hard to get. Action Army makes a lot of them as well as PDI.

As for the VSR route.....I really wouldn't suggest the BAR-10. Right now with the advent of the AACT11 it simply is a no-brainer to get the T11 instead of any other things else.

The only thing about the T11 that I am skeptical of is how strong the stock is where the rear part of the stock can be removed to make a short rifle. Will it break?
Also, what is the price difference between the T11 and the Bar10.
One big advantage the VSR has is it is extra light.

Have you looked into getting the ASG M40A3 Sportline? It looks like you can get an AA VSR hopup chamber for it with slight mods. You should easily be able to max it out for under $200, and it's OOB performance looks great too. I'm in the same boat, as I would like to put my G&P M14 aside and focus on a budget BASR. This is the route I'm gonna try to go.

Weren't the T11 and the T11s two different rifles with different stocks? Afaik they should be two separate rifles instead of a convertible version.

And that, you will never get a price difference advantage large enough to offset the upgrades' individual price. For a price tag of 155 USD you have internals that could stand up to stupid strong springs rather easily and is immediately usable out of the box, which is something you need to upgrade the BAR to be capable of doing so. For it being VSR compatible 100% the VSR advantage is no longer a valid excuse either. And as far as weight goes the gun is 2.1kg which is also only that weeny bit heavier than the BAR10 with quality beating the BAR everyday.

I would go so far to say the T11 is the go-to choice for any VSR novices instead of the BAR. The current situation, as it stands, is it being a VSR-based platform that is already well-suited to high power play out of the box, and is perfectly upgrade-capable even if you get dissatisfied with its current performance. The only instance where you would want to go for the BAR right now is you know exactly what you want to buy and do, instead of starting out and just needed something cheap and does you work, and even then the T11 is still the better choice.

Maybe the T11 stocks are 2 different stocks. So just short and long. I have not checked properly.

As for the internals. The T10 and T11 do not have the best Action Army parts. They did not use there Specialized 90 degree trigger. They used another trigger that is not as strong but it is still good. Just not as strong as the Specialized trigger. If I was to make a rifle that has an M190 spring, I would not be using the T10,T11 trigger. Also the piston needs replacing as well as it is just a plastic one that cannot handle an M170. They also have a different cylinder than there Teflon cylinder but it does seem to be quite good. They have also used another hopup chamber that is just a cast metal chamber not like their CNCed red one for the VSR10. In saying this, it does seem to work well.
So the T10/T11's are a good option for someone who is starting out but if the person is aiming for the best performance out of the rifle, then they will need to upgrade parts.
As for the weight, I just went onto the AA website and the T11 is lighter than the T10 by a reasonable amount which is good. Back when before they made the T10, they asked me for advise on making the rifle, I asked them to make it as light as possible. When they made the T10 stock, I was a little disappointed because of the weight. So the T11 may be the new good base rifle.
I will get the T11 some time and check the stock/weight out.

As long as we can get the T11 in the States easily. While people will say you can import the T10 no problem, mine was seized and destroyed by those assholes in customs.

1tonne 09-09-2019 03:58 PM

The T10 had copyright issues. That's why they made the T11
