Should have mentioned that my mask is just plain forest green. Nothing fancy required, but there's nothing stopping you getting creative with a couple of rattle cans. Just don't expect it to render...

Camo doesn't make any difference really. I use a One Tigris foldable mask as it gets a good cheek weld, a Flecktarn booney hat with a bit of scrim to break up the edges and outline. Most of being...

Custom building is fun, and knowing that no one is going to have that gun at the field is a good feeling and a good conversation starter.

The Mancraft will work with any length barrel, but for 500fps then 400-450 seems to be the sweet spot. With the cylinder volume reduced to give a gas (at atmospheric pressure) /barrel volume ratio of...

I suggest you go and find some reviews and guides on the MB 02 before you buy. Some of the parts are compatible with the very popular VSR 10 guns, but others are slightly oddball sizes and leave you...

Just neatly wrap a good thick layer of PTFE tape on the thread so it's good and tight. Then stop at the right place when you're doing it up. Once the mag catch is bolted to the hop /outer barrel it's...

The grub screw that is supposed to lock the outer barrel is pretty useless. Just use plenty of Teflon tape to make it a good fit. The remainder of the screws and bolts are all metric socket (hex)...

I take it you wanted to get the ballast out? While you're at it make a nice light MDF block to replace the lump of metal the bipod would normally plug into at the front of the foreend. Does good...

It's not that the stock spring isn't up to pushing 0.4g BBs, more that the barrel is too long for them.

The barrel is too long for the cylinder volume. 0.4g BBs and about 400mm barrel length. If you have the 60 Maple Leaf it will work fine for a while, but the nub will tear after a few thousand...

If it's managing 450+ fps then moving to 0.4g BBs makes sense, in terms of frame and accuracy. You won't get the most /best out of them, but still worth doing.

A more powerful spring just means the BB leaves the barrel faster. Whatever the initial velocity a heavier BB will retain velocity and backspin longer. In fact if you fire an 0.2g BB at 500fps, the...

The problem is your ammo and the laws of physics. If you want your rounds to travel further, use heavier ammo. It also sounds like you are increasing hop when you need to decrease it. More hop, more...

Interesting, but something is flawed. Just as an example if you look at the figures for 0.28g BBs at 1.14J, the graphs would imply that the maximum effective range is somewhere around 140'. From...
