svd-s co2 conversion

Hi guys! I've bought an A&K SVD spring rifle. Then i decided that i want to put in the CO2 upgrade kit from Airsoftpro.cz. When i've installed the upgrade i've noticed that tha gass/rifle does not make the right sound, and that the 12G CO2 cartrige goes empty at abbaut 40shots. All the parts...

Does anyone know if the A&K SVD Gas conversion kits are compatible with the SVD-S? I have access to materials and tools to edit parts if not, but I do not have a reliable mill. I'd like to convert my SVD-S from spring to Co2 (even tho I've heard not a lot you are fans of unregulated CO2. Might...
