Hello,

I just ordered a RA v2.2 cnc shell for my VFC HK417D.
I tried to get all the information available on this setup but as you can figure, it's not much since the v2.2 RA conversions are quite rare.

I saw and read that many people are having trouble with these shells and that many parts do not fit correctly. To be honest, the more I read, the more pessimistic I become...

So, before I order any more parts, I'd greatly appreciate it, if anyone, who has a nicely working 417D with RA shell could give me some advice.

I'd really like to leave the stock gearbox untouched and build a completely working RA shell with all new parts.

So far I only ordered the shell itself and the Retroams Hopup for M4.
Already read that the hopupwheel might be too big to fit in the 417D.

When you have the RA shell give me a message. I will give you a few tips.

I had zero issues when doing my install. Best GB shell we ever worked with. I know some others have had problems, maybe I was lucky.
