Are you meaning being able to shoot 90 yards accurately stock?
We also need to know your price range and how much time and money you are going to contribute to upgrades and actually playing the game.
Once you get into the higher quality replicas, it's pretty much preference of what the rifle looks like from there. You can upgrade each rifle to pretty much the same performance. So find a rifle that you like, then go from there. If you have any questions about internals don't be afraid to ask.
You might be a really good shot too :). Your right though becuase you have been in the sport 20X longer then me, you know 1000X more stuff then me about airsoft then me. But with your rifle you've had a lot more performance upgrades rights? Just a 550 fps spring .36G bb and a decent hop up plus rifle alone going to get you 95 yards consistently?
Yup, though I never said it would be accurate in the least if you don't get a tightbore and cylinder head and piston upgrade as well. But reaching out to 95 isn't a terribly hard feat.

But I'd rather have a really accurate rifle at 70 yards than an inaccurate one at 95, y'know what I mean?

Yes I think I do. :-/

EDIT: Tex what is your longest shot?

It's not that difficult of a feat. 550 fps, with a decent hop up and .36g or higher and you'll be stretching out there. I'm getting 95yards + consistently with my rifle, and the shots are pretty damn accurate out there actually. Just ask Livonia, he got the opportunity to put a few hundred rounds through it this past weekend.

If you have the $$, anything is possible.
I can vouch for it. It is seriously a laser beam and for sure shoots a solid 100 yards, no exaggeration. 90 yard shot wouldn't be too hard with this rifle.

The longest one I landed was probably about 70 though, no lob and no knuckle on the bb.
Livonia shoots a Maruzen APS L96 Variant with a PDI Hop Up and several other upgrades. You can see pictures in The Gallery section under Livonia's section.

Likely 70-80, during the heat of battle I typically do not pay attention to the distances, my mind kinda just thinks that the target is either "too far" or "in range" so I can't give you a for sure longest range shot.

The rifle Livonia is talking about is my maruzin it's upgraded with a plethora of things and has cost me a large sum of money. Even if you do purchase the same upgrade parts however, don't expect your rifle to act the same way, it has only just recently been fine tuned to perfection. Just a month ago I was so frustrated with it that I was ready to sell it, and now you'll have a damn hard time getting it from me.
would the maruzen aps 2 shoot like Livonia's not stock that might be imposible but with a generous amount of upgrades.

You would be able to shoot about 100 yards max with a simple 300% drop in kit, a new trigger housing, hop up, and tightbore. This is a very cost effective way of doing things, but it gets the job done.
Wow, that doesnt sound like a lot of thing to make it really good.
You might not even need a new trigger housing either. I rolled with a CA 300% drop in kit on my Maruzen APS-2 and the trigger housing held up just fine for pretty much all winter and a little of the spring, just up until I sold my CA 300% cylinder. Now that I'm in the market for a new one, I can't really keep stress testing it. Ha ha!

..Just a thought, if you're trying to save a dollar or a hundred.
90 yards, jeez that's is far for an airsoft gun.
thanks for the help guys, does anyone know the best way to use $300
Well, it depends on what you want. If you want to have a rifle that shoots nice right away, then grab yourself a BAR 10, a Zero Trigger, and a spring. If you want to have a rifle, then upgrade it slowly, get a Maruzen, or Tokyo Marui, and call it good, until you get more money.
thanks OaKeY how accurate would the BAR-10 set up be? if anyone has one can they help me out
