A&K or Snow Wolf M24

I've been looking at M24s the last couple days, trying to find a decent one to mess around with. I know it's not the usual concern, but my only real requirement is that it has the adjustable buttstock, which both these have (Otherwise I would probably just get a Bar-10 and leave it at that). I've read up on both these rifles but I'm still not sure if either are really worth it. From what I can tell, the A&K has surprisingly good internals for the price, but has an odd hop-up and hard to find mags. On the other hand, the Snow Wolf looks like it could either be APS-2 or VSR-10 compatible depending on which version you get, though I don't know much else about the gun as it seems not all that many people have them. Which of these would have better externals, and which would be easier to upgrade if I wanted to? I'm not all that serious about playing a sniper at the moment so I'm not sure if I'll be doing much upgrading to begin with, but it's nice to consider my options.

Any other M24s that you might recommend for around $150 would be good to hear as well. I don't know much about the Echo 1 M28 other than it's somewhat popular and people say it's good out of the box, but it's also a bit more than I really feel like spending at the moment, especially when the A&K and Snow Wolf are both only about $115.

I have both and would recommend the A&K if you don't feel like upgrading.
It comes with a sturdy steel cylinder, a good piston and spring guide straight out of the box.
Change to a high quality inner barrel and hopup rubber, and you probably will be happy for quite a while.

PDI makes a complete cylinder set for it, if you need to change in the future.

The internals in the Snow Wolf feels like lower quality and needs more love initially to perform proper.
There are more available after market parts for this, with both PDI and Airsoftpro producing them.

There is a big difference in the outer measurements of the stock, where the A&K is much thinner, like a VSR, and the Snow Wolf is beefier and almost hard to grip unless having big hands.
The Snow Wolf stock feels more robust than the A&K, especially the adjustable part of the stock. Where the A&K is a bit wobbly.

The issue though is still that I can't really find anywhere that sells mags for it. Evike, AirsoftGI, Megastore, Redwolf, Air Rattle, Hobbytron.. nothing. Are there other brands of mags that are compatible with it and work well?

Also on the topic of the Snow Wolf, how would I go about telling whether it's VSR or APS2 compatible if I do choose to buy it? Would I just need to show people the internals and see what they say?
