I will let you know how it goes Fuzzy! Im currently going to strip the internals, hopefully place an M trigger, if not a zero will do. As for the cylinder, i would like an aps2 teflon cylinder but the cylinder on the gun is supposed to be larger than the standard aps2, but i have not measured so that may not be completely true. New spring guide, new piston and a 150/170 spring depending on what i have spare. As for the hop, the gun follows the vsr system meaning i can place a PDI unit in there with a firefly/guarder soft hop. As goes for inner barrels, i think a standard 6.03 will be thrown in (preferably Laylax).
As aesthetics go, im planning placing a paracord sling, leopold mk3 scope with sunshade, harris bipod (real), tornado barrel (whether i have one or can aquire, if not, ill place a fluted one instead), silencer adapter with a large supressor and some sexy paint!

When finnished i will place a full review and photos for you all to drool over, may even have to add some photos of the Cheytac whenever i get round to it!
Bigbrother, the hop-up is exactlly the same as the standard hop-up on the vsr series of rifles made by Tokyo-Marui, i own various vsr's and i have compared and they are the same unit design (possibly the same, more probably worse although decent out of the box). I will be adding a PDI vsr hop unit to replace it however and also upgrading the bucking, most likely a firefly/guarder vsr bucking (not sure whether it will be hard or soft however. On top of that im going to be placing a tightbore whether it be a madbull or laylax i cannot tell you but it will most definatly be a 6.03mm. Contradicting myself here, the AGM l96 actually comes stock with a 6.05mm and is in the golden bore size 6.03-6.05 and is decent out of the box with me hitting targets 100m away (not too great but decent, i was using a new hop rubber , everything else however was stock). If you have any other questions just let me know and ill help you out!
And thankyou for the takedown guide as well! I already knew but helps
One hell of a hybrid platform to use but hey, nothing like the feeling of overcoming a challenge and creating a beast which will quite literally destroy a tuned Maruzen when in good hands!
