Well, after about 5 Months of rolling with the main squad, I would like to return sniping, but I have run into a problem, I don't have a sniper rifle....And I need some help find one. I have some requirement that it must meet.

1. Must be US Based (Rem. 700 style, not L96)
2. Gas is prefered, spring is ok.
3. Has to be reasonably priced, ($100 range, can go up to $150)
4. I would love to be able to do some Visual Modifications (Maybe change the stock[noun not the adjective] configuations, in other words make it look good.)

I am looking for suggestions on a new gun.
I would truly appreciate your help.

p.s.- I had a BAR-10 Before, it was ok, but I would like something different

And I wouldn't even buy the takedown!

Stash some cash for a bit. I know it's hard, especially with the airsoft bug, but try.

And really do your research, don't just look at the first thing you can afford as waiting a couple months and getting something of better quality will pay off in the long run.

As an example. I played for 2 years before buying my stock Maruzin and spent 2 years building it and gaining knowledge from fellow snipers before even taking on the complete role of a sniper. Now I have a lot of respect in the local community and get called upon for questions quite often. And as for that airsoft bug, I am afriad I might start collection airsft sniper rifles. That and I want to build another one! Trying to get a pre-ban tanaka next before they go elvis and dissapear!

Well he cant get a Maruzen because there both Oversea rifles. APS2 - Styre SSG PIV and the APS-96 - L96.

If your going for Gas, I would agree and go with the KJW Takedown.
If your going for Spring, I would go with the Classic Army M24.

If I had to start all over again from scratch I would have gotten an M24 because I think they are DAMN sexy.

Yeah I looked around some more, and realised i can't buy anything good for that price. and saving is very hard ATM, my CA M15a4 is in the shop :( and is really costing me.

What about a D-Boys SPR (Pro is price)? or a CA SR25(Pro is AR-10 Style)?
