That's the point.
In my gun the mod runs for over 2 years now without any issues.

But here on ASF some had the problem you described. Maybe the screws head were too small and they pulled too hard. In this case they used a drill to enlarge the hole /shoulder.

Anywhere in the US to get those screws? Could you include some in your shop page so I could order with my order?

I tried to get those screws on ebay but $15 shipping for 5 screws? I know thats a $8 package at most... I get small packages from China all the time with free shipping.

I went to the store and its not the same as pictured, they were the ones on the left, not the middle as he suggested (flat head?)

@Plasticnoob, iv had my eye on this mod for a bit now. I found similar "button" socket caps here

https://www.fastenal.com/products/details/MB2510016A20000?r=~%7Ccategoryl1:%22600000%20Fasteners%22%7C~%20~%7Ccategoryl2:%22600039%20Sockets%22%7C~%20~%7Ccategoryl3:%22600043%20Button%20Socket%20Cap%20Screws%22%7C~%20~%7Csattr01:%5EMetric$%7C~%20~%7Csattr02:%5E%22M3%20-%200.5%22$%7C~%20~%7Csattr06:%5E16mm$%7C~

Or you could even try their "Low" socket cap screw

https://www.fastenal.com/products?term=7984&r=~%7Csattr04:%5E%22M3%20-%200.5%22$%7C~%20~%7Csattr05:%5E16mm$%7C~

I havent gotten around to doing this mod yet so I cant say what length or type of socket cap is going to be better. The links are for the 16mm ones and they sell the next size up, 20mm. Hope it helps

if you wanna buy the metall version better think twice, the metall they print is a pain in the bud to get a thread in.

i would prefer if the metall version also had the deepening for a self securing m3 nut. i had to apply loctite to stop the top turret from moving free on the screw - allready fear the day i have to open the gun again.

Ok, i just finished mines :D. It's the metal version, it was a little pain in the ass, that just because to be carefull to dont do any bad things to it. The threading for me was pretty easy to do (my dad had a threading manual set wich i used it) after that i made the steps from the instruction, ofc i fucked up a little the 2mm hole that i made it through the HUU :D because i made id a little slant and the screw didnt fit through the hole even if i made a 6mm one (and ofc i didnt notice from the start ). But it wasnt such a big deal because i manage to fix it, to just widen the hole. So after i made all this i used a Bison Epoxy Metal to glue the base (i left it like for 1.5-2 hours), and ofc i still had some isseus because i couldnt make it work, i did try with the HU arm at the top (hop up 0) like i saw in the tutorial but i didnt manage to make it work (donno why maybe i really missed something), so i started to thread the arm down (hop-up at maxim) and the bastard started to work as it should. Well i did test it before mount all on the replica and i test it even after on the replica, and its working just fine. Now is time to enjoy it....i hope :D.

It's been almost two years since I built my TDC mod from Skeee, the super glue no longer sticks to the turret, causing the screw to come undone and not adjusting anymore. I will be buying another turret. It has lasted an estimated 5,000 bb's adjusting over the years.

For my second bar 10, I might just try all metal parts and see how it goes.

If you have a spare scope turret, you may be able to make one yourself that will last a very long time. I have had my home made one for 3 years now and it is like new.
