Modern AEG's don't even really need fuses anymore, only if the motor is botchy. The change of an electrical surge etc. is minimal now.

Yes, have been using my G36c for over three years now without a fuse and with several different batteries, 8.4V 9.6v and to just see crazy rof was like one of those huge 10.8v (Not my battery) I have also been using my MP5k for a year without one and my SRC M4 without one. (My G36c has had 30,000+ shots through it)

Okay, how about something stupid like a 14.8v? It's not that I doubt you, but your statement was blanket one and stupid.

Keep it civil, especially when you are calling people stupid and they just proved the point you were calling stupid. - Fuses make for a worse connection between the wiring and the battery. Now I don't know a whole lot about electronics but I do know that the contact etc. helps the ROF. Also I have used a gun with a faulty motor (Trying to fix the gun, a friends, and it had no fuse. No damage was done even after him (He's a noob) continuously trying to fire it. Damage to the wiring that is.)

It would be true if AEGs never malfunctioned, but that's not the case. It seems that you're located in Ireland, where the operational ranges of AEGs is a lot lower than I'm used to. When you start to push into the territory I enjoy, they become necessary due to the electrical demands. In reality, were arguing over a general safety precaution. Hopefully, it will not kill any of us, and really doesn't matter while we argue about the pros and cons.

Yes I will give you that, we do not go over one joule so they do not really become a problem. So yeah maybe it is important.

I've never seen guns catch on fire, even with one that had an 11.4v lipo, high sppeed motor, high speed gears and no fuse. But it doesn't matter every one can agree to disagree.
