Really looking forward woogie, nice start and love the lathe.
I'm trying to figure out how can I change the mag location, I hate it like this!!
As I've said and of course I will repeat it MANY times so there's no mistakes " count me in "!!

The DX version of the Asahi has an internal gas tank(not so good) that you can use green, red gas, propane and anything you like and if you want can use an external rig(recommended).

The stupid Ares mag can hold 10bb's in there and even you say it's empty you move the gun a bit and another round appears!! That's why I hate it!!

There are 8ci HPA tanks but still are too big to fit in there or in the mag.

Or you can place it on a pouch on the gun.

There's no sling for this gun it was ment to be used by police and they didn't put sling mounts.
There's no place to mount a rig on the gun, it's too narrow for this.

The AirWork is an Italian firm but I can't seem to find this type of solenoid!!

I'm waiting a couple of replies ... To be honest I don't expect to find it in Greece and now I'm searching in in the Europe but it's also hard to find! In most stores it's out of stock!

I can't seem to find solenoid valves here, perhaps the shops here use a different name!
I want to see it first before I buy it, I want to be sure it will fit inside the WA2000 body.

That's great news , I can't wait to see it. I've received the base gun and it's a Geneth WA2000, I've found one empty shell, no internals at all, no mag and no mag catch there's only the barrel and hop up...! I'm also missing some bolts a the hop up adjusting knob. And the worst part it's that the frame is bend at some point and broken.
I'll see what I can do about it, from what I've seen so far the metal parts are far inferior to the Ares WA2000 and miles behind the Asahi's.
I'll upload some pics probably next week.

Indeed, he's doing a great work, but which of the 2 versions can withstand the high fps configuration?

After studying the plans a bit I'd say it's the older version has 4 ports at the end cap and the new only one so it makes me think that it's easier to reach higher fps with the older design, though the newer it's better for high ROF guns!

You can't mix something like this!!
You need a board not the mechanical solution of the classics!
It's electricity that activates the solenoid and not just the pressure of the air.

I'm thinking for the easiest way!
I have only one air gun the Weihrauch HW97k so I don't know how others work
But this system is similar to paintball markers perhaps we should look at this direction.

Since it's going to have external rig you can adjust the fps by adjusting the pressure.
The more fps you have the longer flat flight path you'll have.
Woogie will use this as a DMR/sniper rifle so he will make it semi auto. If some one wants to put it to an assault body or in an LMG he can have it full auto and whatever fps he wants.
