Hi, so I have the Laylax/Prometheus barrel (6.03, 433mm).
The problem is that it's not VSR cut and I want to use the ML Decepticons buckings for my rifle.
So in the picture below..

..is this how should I modify the barrel? should I also create the "circle" around or will just shaving off the "bridge" do the trick?
Also the stock barrel has a slightly bigger window, should i enlarge the window as well?

Thanks for your advice.

I don't really think that the 'dent' is needed. Nor the 'tilt'.
The 'tilt' is needed to be straight if you are going to use Rhops, but it should not influence Mapleleaf.
Also, the 'dent' is not needed also. But be sure to wrap some teflon tape to the Mapleleaf bucking, since they are 1mm shorter than normal buckings.

If you don't put the "dent" in the barrel, you should probably cut off the end of the bucking that coincides with that dent. But I would also suggest some Teflon tape and maybe some dental floss to help air-seal. You might need the cuts behind the "dent" if you're using the stock hop. If you're using the AA, you won't need it.
I used a file and a drill to put the "dent" in my barrel for my spare parts vsr, it works fine.
