Okay, i'm installing my PDI. Everything goes smoothly.
First the BBs are powering down. Second time, I go back, and the BB jams, tearing a small piece of my bucking off around the end that comes off the barrel, and ripping my smallest O ring in half.
This really sucks, and i'm confused. Is anyone willing to let me ship them my gun or tell me what/how to fix it?

What PDI did you install?

It could be anything from a sharp bur, to something as simple as something isn't lined up just right.

If it is something that you don't think you are able to handle, I would be willing to take a look at it for you. PM me for more details and all of that stuff.

It sounds like the bucking might have been installed incorrectly. When you say bb's are powering down, do you mean there is no hop? Please elaborate, as I encountered many PDI hop up problems, and any details will help me help you.

Not sure about the small o ring ripping in half. All I can think of is if you did not get it installed completely/correctly, resulting in the bb, when fired, to slam against the o ring, causing the o ring to rip.

I would suggest getting your hands on a PDI repair kit, as it will supply you with spare o rings. And try not to get too frustrated. I know the feeling, and I had to get my hands on a few repair kits as well. Took some time before I figured everything out.

WAIT WHAT?!

A barrel spacer came out with it? How did that happen?

And if it is just making a puff sound, I am going to put my money on something wasn't put together properly with the hop chamber. If one of those o-rings was put in wrong, it will cause the bb to hang up. Or you could have a bad inner barrel as well.

Pics of the problem area are always helpful as well.

I've packed all my stuff into baggies. The smallest O ring was not properly installed, and it shredded in half. I'm gonna have to buy a repair kit unless someone has an extra one. Just going to take a deep breathe, it's my birthday and i'm already getting made at my gun. lol.
And I have no idea, my friend was "wtfing" in real life. I don't know how to install the small rings and I youtube'd it for 2 hours.

The repair kit from PDI can be had for around $10 on airsoftatlanta.com.

The "pffffff" sound you are experiencing could be caused by a couple of things.

1. The bucking was installed incorrectly: The bb will jam and not fire.
2. The nubbin is not installed correctly
3. The o rings are not installed correctly. Most likely the smallest o ring was not, like you said. Hence the reason that it ripped.

Some pics of each step that you did when installing the chamber will help us identify more easily what went wrong.

But like woogie said, take a break. It is frustrating, but worth it in the end my friend. Just resist the urge to throw anything across the room. ;)

Alright, so my repair kit is in the mail. How far down does the little O Ring have to be?
Another issue I had is the bucking and barrel could move back and fourth in the hopup (Slides up and down) Is there something to tighten that up?
