Airsoft zeroing in troubles

Alright so im new into the sniper world. First things first...im shooting an echo 1 m28 with .25 bbs, a nc star 3-9x40 scope. Many people have said to zero in at 50 meters or 200ft, but hat seems to be impossible for me. my shoots are not even consistant at 50 ft. so please can anyone tell me how to accomplish the task?

FWIW, I get better range and accuracy using my E1 M28 with .28's than .36's. Strange, but true. So far, the gun is unmodified.

And I no longer waste time attempting to zero optics to airsoft guns. I always leave the optic at factory default, adjust hopup before each game, and adjust my aim point to compensate for how the gun is shooting that day.
