UPDATE: This Problem is a defect in the Angel Custom Neo Hop-up unit itself, caused by a non-properly seated O-ring, which will catch the BB and cause it to Leave the barrel at a substantially lower FPS, jam, or even break. The only solution as of right now is to just reach in with some long tweezers and remove the O-ring.
So I've been upgrading my UTG Type 96 for a few months now, and this weekend I finally got in the 6.03 Prommy barrel that I've had on pre-order from evike, and promptly installed the barrel and neo hop up that I've had sitting around for a while. After installing I went into my back yard, set up a target at 100 feet to dial in the hop up and scope, aimed, and... My shot fell about 30 feet from where I sat. Confused, I reset, loaded a new round, and... same thing. I tried again and again, before taking the gun inside, cleaning the barrel, setting the hop up to zero (I assumed it may have been way too high to begin with), and went back out. But sure enough, the problem persisted. Curious if it may have been the hop unit itself, I muzzle loaded a round , aimed and... Boom, a straight trajectory right into my target and 100 feet. After testing for about a half an hour, It seems safe to say that the hop up itself is the problem. So has anyone else with a AC NEO or PDI (the neo is a PDI clone) encountered this problem? If so, is there a way to fix it?
