Hi guys,

Just recently my UTG l96 broke down and i decided it was time after 3 years of ownership to give my baby some upgrades. I'd always wanted to upgrade but was short on cash until recently. So i went and bought a full metal trigger box and this tuneup kit

Angel Custom Advanced Precision Airsoft APS / APS2 / Type 96 / M99 500 FPS SP170 Tune Up Kit, Accessories & Parts, Sniper Rifle Parts, *Shop by Model, APS-2 / Type 96 - Evike.com Airsoft Superstore

(piston head comes separately, but i got that as well)

I installed it about a week ago and am planning to take it out to the field this weekend. put a few rounds through it and am quite pleased. No chrono yet, but i will update on this when I know for sure.

Just wanted to know if any of you have these parts and your thoughts on them.

I know that there are better brands out there i just wanted to try them as i couldn't find much about them and we all need a guinea pig. haha

I always wondered if Evike could get in trouble for false advertising because Angle Custom claims to be Vsr 10 compatible...

just a quick little search

AC is a low quality company... Thats probably why they bent.
I have read a lot of bad things about the Angel Custom products, so I would be careful about that.
I dunno, I get more creative everytime this question comes up... If I'm lazy I just do the link, but I just drank some cranberry juice (oh man that sugar) and I'm ready for an all nighter of studying... And what better way to start off a night of DBQ essays with some quotes and evidence!

i need a life -_-

thanks for all the responses everyone!

I see why bobcat isn't a fan. As for me, I haven't had near that many problems with their parts. *knock on wood*
i basically did the same thing with my car haha, bought parts everyone said were not so hot and everything turned out great. hopefully this winds up the same.

We shall see of their longevity. BUT, after a sip of some cranberry juice (i see you bobcat) and a quick read through these threads, i will most likely be purchasing a better upgrade kit sometime in the near future. Not angel custom. (glad i didn't buy the angel trigger box now)

the main reason i bought these is just to get my rifle back on the field.

last question, whats this i see about their TB barrels? would you recommend them, or to save up and get something a little more proven. I've read through the barrel thread (bookmarked it) and I'm interested to see what the hate group has in store for me.

So far, ive read good things about Action Army parts, you could see about that.

Good luck.
AA is by far better than AC. I may write Evike an email just to get then to notice that AC parts don't really work and see what they think about it..

OP'er, just don't go with Angel Custom.

Alright, i will be checking out action army in the near future, seems to be the best low cost option according to most people.

I've had some engineering problems with Angel Custom parts (a lot of them, come to think of it) but my AC barrel, hop-up unit and cylinder works fine on my UTG L96. I agree with others, set AA parts. That's where I got my trigger unit and it's great.
