This is a Sun Project M700.
Sun Project was a japanese manufacturer who built airsoft guns from the mid 90s to somewhere around the early 2010s. I think they don't exist anymore.

They were famous for two things mostly: High quality M700 sniperrifles and externally powered Armalites with Escort GBB - internals.
Clarence Lai was not involved, as far as I know, though I would not rule out, that he has tuned one or a few of these.

There's a bit of info here: Sun Project M700, but this site is already pretty old itself, so take the info there, especially that about the value, with a grain of salt :)

Yeap a Sun Project M700 or M40. The stock is not original tho but it's very cool
If you remove the stock and show me the sear I can identify the version.
The M40A1 is a rather rare gun ..

Unfortunately you can't find any parts for any of these guns, but the quality is superb. I own a M40XB old gen

Unfortunately no .. No Calico unfortunately.
Sadly sold many of my classics.
I still have one and half Asahi WA2000, 3x JAC XM177 Limited, FTC Spectre, Kokusai Crimebuster, SP M40XB,2x SP XP 100 and that's it.. Sold quite a few guns unfortunately.
BTW we brought back the old classicairsoft.net forum!
Unfortunately the Classic Airsoft name was taken so the new forum is

GASGUNNERS.COM - Index page

For now it's mostly empty and we tested a few things, the old forum is backed up and we will slowly start to move the threads from the old forum at some point hopefully soon.
