Hello,

Ok, im going to get right to what i need help with, as most dont want to hear a story lol. So here are my questions:

I need spring mags. Impossible to find, anyone know where to get them. Every where i look i see Co2 and some gas mags, but no spring.

Anyone else game these guns, what are the Fps on gas and spring, better off to go gas then spring?

Propane/green gas or Co2 kit? Should i the kit or stay green gas?

Ill post picture in a different thread, thanks!

Don't think many people field them, due to there size and very low FPS (even on gas). For a rifle this large you would want to be well away from anyone, because I know you wont be picking this thing up and running with her for very long ;)

Probably best to get a Co2 mag or tap the gas mag and go from there.

The springs are a different size. A guy on another forum tried this; bot sure if he got it to work. Most likely though, a higher power spring would break the trigger.

I agree with woogie. Go gas and tap the magazines for HPA. Then you can go however high of an FPS you want. The only thing you may have to worry about is getting a stronger striker spring custom made.

Yeah, well the good thing about this gun is usally i have to stop gaming my Gbbrs without Npas because i can't adjust the Fps, but if this shoots low, then heat will be good and ill shoot at a good Fps,

FPS isn't the problem with the gas bolt. It should be decently high. The consistency is what will throw off your accuracy. The air rig will help greatly with your shot to shot consistency. Remember, if you are shooting 550 FPS on one shot, and then 500 FPS on the next, there will most likely be no kind of accuracy, especially at long range. You already have a very large, heavy rifle. I'm sure a small tank and line carried in a pouch will be hardly noticeable since you probably won't be moving around very much.

There are some guides on here about how to put together an air rig and tap your magazine. I think I've even said some things in a thread about it. If not, you could PM me or there is tons of info about it all over the web.

Are you considering going to just gas? Using an air rig and converting a magazine to accept external air would be a huge performance booster. Its the one thing a gas bolt replica operator can do to dramatically effect their velocity and consistency regardless to weather. I have seen ARES AW338 be very consistent and would think that the M200 could as well. You need to find all the extra factory bits and pieces while you can though. ARES seems to be dead in the water and replacement parts will be necessary down the road. Their are plenty of external air threads. You should start looking there. Mind you, external air will run you 2-300 with a new air rig and HPA bottle. I would buy the bottle used and make the air rig but you can buy them pre-assembled for your specific use through austinwolv on classic airsoft forums.

There's a shop in France who sells 450fps spring for the M200.
Still I suggest to use gas and even better with an external rig. That way you get the desired consistency plus you can adjust the fps every time you want.
