For ares striker as-02 (and others strikers), due to its different cylinder that is shorter than normal cylinders:
  1. which lengths of inner barrels do you suggest?
  2. Short inner barrels reduce range and accuracy?
  3. Short inner barrel reduce joule in generally?
I want to reduce the length of my inner barrel in my as-02 from a 300mm to a 91mm or a 200mm but I want to know how length of barrel affect BB range and accuracy

Idk, maybe like 400mm 5.98 bore for a decent weight like .36g.

In a matter of speaking, yes, but that only appliees to range, and only because that reduces power, which can be remedied by a heavier spring.
This doesn't matter though, as you should probably be using whatever barrel gives you the most power, as to reduce your spring, gun wear, and sound signature.

Yes, practically always.
This is because the BB leaves the barrel vefore it has gotten as much power as it could from the air behind it, so with a shorter barrel you are wasting lots of air and power.
You really have nothing to gain from a shorter barrel, as 400mm is already very short(I like 600mm because I have HPA) and going shorter will just make your gun louder and power drop.

You shouldn't have any accuracy changes, but if you plan to do an integral suppressor then you will most likely make your gun louder in the process.
Btw, my homegirl @Skara can attest to how God damn awful the Striker is, and how seriously awesome the T11/VSR-10 is.

That's way to short of a barrel without overvoluming (even in a striker) and having to put a bigger spring n to compensate. As your at a 1j limit matched cylinder/barrel will be even more important as ranges will be closer and your gun will be easier to hear if overvolumed.

Yes my plan is to reduce the lengthy of the barrel maybe to a 200mm or to a 91mm and put a suppressor in the outer barrel. Is it a good idea for you? Someone already did this?

My fear is that I'll lost accuracy most of all, about power and louder well:
  • Noise will be always less than electric ASG and a 40m I don't think will be so hearable
  • Power lost can be fixed with an higher spring power but btw in my country the limit is 1j the lost of the power will be automatically fixed in this way

300mm is the right length for the cylinder volume.

Bolt pull is rough and heavy because the spring used is meant to be compressed by a set of gears rather than muscles :D you don't want to go with a shorter barrel only to have a stiff ass spring that you can't pull.

At 40 metres it's still audible even with a thick ass sorbo pad on the cylinder head (tested both in game and controlled environment), airbrakes of any size will murder the power output (we're talking 0.4J readings on a m120 spring and a bolt pull that feels like a 5J gun).

You either HPA it or move onto the vsr platform.
