Hi all,

Apologies if this has already been tackled. I'm sure it has but we're suffering a case of too much info when I try and search it :)
I have a relatively stock AS02, only real upgrades are a maple leaf bucking, Gunsmithy arm and M135 spring.
My query is this, I'm only getting about 340fps on .30s, or 370fps on .25s.
I can't see any obvious air leaks, but I could totally be missing something.
I've PTFE'd the nozzle/cylinder thread.
Any common areas i should look for, or am I chasing smoke here and should just bite the bullet and get an upgraded cylinder etc?

Any advice welcome.

Thanks!

With a standard springer you usually use an M160 or something to get like 3J, so the spring you're using may be a bit weak for sniper type power.
The second thing is that the Striker platform sort of sucks because the cylinder volume is quite small making decent power unachievable unless you switch to HPA.
Another thing that's sort of bad is the barrel stability that @The Shaggy Sniper could tell you about.

You would be best off selling your rifle and getting an APS Fieldcraft, T11, SSG10, CM701, or Tac41/SRS due to higher quality materials and better designs.

With the striker, you will always struggle to make it into high fps. The cylinder volume is really bad.- Like Silicone says.
Normally to work out what spring will give you what fps, you multiply it by 3.28. So if the spring is a M150, then you multiply it by 3.28 and it will be 492fps (with 0.2gm). This can depend on inner barrel length too.
With the Striker though, it does not have the volume needed and so I would only multiply it by 2.9.
