It is available in the US, Action Sport Games USA . Just find a ASG dealer. Seems like there is a higher demand for it in Europe and Asia. People is the US still prefer the M24 style I guess.

I have one and until you hold one, you won't appreciate the level of detail.

When I bring my TM VSR10 to a game with all the upgrades sunk into it, well..it looks like any other M25 that Evike is selling for $99.

The ASW338LM looks good completely stock.

Having worked on one personally, it is a complete upgrade nightmare.
You have to take the whole thing apart. (bottom ris rail, upper rail, 43029682139058x screws etc etc)
The feeding system was failure prone from the start. The manufacturer didnt take the time to get rid of all the burrs. The feeding system uses a triangular plate to push the bb from the mag to the barrel. The plate can (and will) get stuck somewhere along the way, thus proving hard to cock.
Furthermore, it is one solid piece of equipment, but IMHO overpriced parts.

Pics or it didnt happen:
The ASW338LM is the first step away from the typical M24 looking rifles that everyone has used for VSR10, APS2, M28, Bar10 and all other clones.

Yes, there is lot a parts on the ASW338LM, because it is based on the real steel version. VFC had to creatively stuff VSR-10 components into a APO ASW338LM 1:1 replica. Unlike M24 type rifles that can not be taken apart with three screws but, how often do you take apart a sniper once it is tuned and working fine? Burrs? All airsoft guns use cast parts are full of burrs.

The feed system is a plastic ramp I think was used in another TM rifle. (just lube it with silicone oil and it feeds just fine). The ASW338LM is a huge step forward in realism where the magazine is directly in front of the trigger guard. The M24 type rifles sucked because the fake magazine door does nothing and the magazine is not in the right place. Since the start, why didn't TM release the VSR10 with the magazine in the right location? Bigger question, why hasn't it ever been fixed today?

Aftermarket companies are already going to support it with upgrades and being VSR10 based, internal upgrades are readily available.

The ASW338LM is the only sniper I will game now because it gets noticed, and that is good for the $$$ I paid for it.

The ASW338LM has very few bugs being a new rifle, compared to guns like the Classic Army M24 which has been in production for years and years now, still haven't fixed the crap magazine design, and hop up adjustment, where the magazine has to be removed and bolt pulled back.

ASW338LM already includes factory done TDC mod. It also used AEG cut barrels and all the rail you will ever need. The adjustable stock is simply amazing compared to the single adjustment on the M24. If I need to sell any of my snipers, the M24's will be the first to go.

I am also keeping an eye on the new ARES MS-338 which is the Remington MSR. If that is VSR10 (100%), I will get that too. You can expect other companies to start coming out with a new generation of snipers as the M24 style are being dumped at the sub $100 as entry snipers.
