Also rocking an AAP-01. I haven't felt the need to add a lot of upgrades so it's simply got the CNC chamber (purchased before the Hadron Liki arrived) a 6.03mm 129mm long barrel, and an MR bucking + Omega nub. I have trouble keeping it below the UK standard 350 fps .2g/Equivalent for pistols but it's a nice option for when the Mk23 doesn't come out to play. If I'm feeling REALLy frisky I use an MP5k with 12:1 gears, high-speed motor, short-stroked piston, and the usual assorted other AEG stuff. Kept it to around 300fps but it is a great option for portability and firepower....just needs a tight bore to keep the grouping acceptable, perhaps to add a little fps without any extra internal stress.
I like flexibility so the AAP is very likely going to be a semi-permanent companion as it does afford you a lot of extra weight on the field for a very tiny weight addition. In fact, aside from the known trigger issues, the biggest problem (IMO) is the stock muzzle flip! I added a substantial muzzle device to offset that particular problem and it's now far more controllable.
