"Assault" sniper sidearm

Hello,
is out there any "Assault" sniper?
i am talking about those guy who like to brake enemy flow to front line, that smash the dream of new respawned guys......that eventually manage to get a small army of enemy charge toward them.
Well I am one of them and i need you wisdom in choosing a good sidearm.
My Ruger mk2 is not good for this play style, i think no pistol is :lmao:

So i thought, a small AEG SMG will be what it need.
First i found JG0451SMG with is a CZ Scorpion, but you know custom gearbox and all, then i saw JG0451SMG MP5 foldable stock V2 gearbox hicap but it seams bulkier then scorpion and the last one is compact P90 with i find harder to use it one hand over corners in with JG0452 will perform great, i think.
Why i want AEG over gas or co2: there are have more consistency and easier to fix.
Any suggestion will be welcome.

Plazma is spot on

IMHO if you're sniping , you are a support role. This is why you need more than one loadout at a milsim event

1. An SPR at rifleman velosity
2. A DMR for fast moving support
3. A BASR with pistol for that long range support (classic sniper)
4. A BASR with SMG for deep infiltration

Mix and match as the mission requires.

What I will say is as a sniper, a good part of your target time should be with your pistol. In airsoft a good pistol will literatly go a long way if you learn to get good with it

Every sniper on the field needs to consider the mission and adjust accordingly. This is something the other classes don't really have to worry about as much. We need to make sure we are useful so figure out the mission and plan accordingly before you leave the car. Yep, being a sniper in airsoft is not cheep if your going to play the role right and support the team as much as you can.

Anybody here has any experience with the JG MP5k???

I´ve been wondering if it is a good backup platform for Snipers...

Thanks!
I own one, nice little primary, terrible secondary to lug around or use one handed/pistol style

Oh how right your are, sir!! :shot: For this very reason I put as much time into the pistol as the bolt gun. I have a couple of Frankenpistols That are r hopped, extremely gas efficient, and dare say shoot as well as alot of M4's. These are my 'sniping only' units, and no, my 1911 isn't one them...that 1911 is just cool.

My main pistol started life as an 802 Prowler. Now it has a 6.03 (custom cut and crowned for the pistol) and a TDC mod with an r hop. The slide is short stroked and the CO2 lives in the handle instead of the mag so I get around 100 shots or so out of a powerlet. Because it short strokes, it has far less kick than a traditional blowback so you can stay on target easier. Less cool than the big blowback pistols, but more effective.

Unfortunately not as quiet as a MK23, but better range and CO2 so the fps is sitting right around that magical 400 mark I love so much. With .3's and the r hop, this thing shoots FAR for a handgun. hahahaha...

So yes, work on the pistols as well. Because it takes these little stick mags, I can shove 4 loaded mags into the tiny pouch on my shoulder holster rig. Pistol under one arm, mags under the other all in one 1911 mag pouch, and I just have a small medic pouch on my belt for the sniper mags. Light, doesn't cover up the camo so it doesn't look like a vest, and let's you move really fast...well as fast as an old dude can move.:lmao:

Plaz, you’re bunking with the bees.

But really, the categorization of sniper defines a rifle and not a distinct play style.

My last TCA event I ran special forces in a squad of 6. That classification means you can use and carry any defined weapon class so each of us carried one LMG, DMR or Sniper plus either a standard rifle or SMG for 0MED use. Doing so removed all MED challenges of playing a large facility and kept everyone useful no matter the situation.

True. In terms of TCA events and ruleset, all "Sniper" means is you can carry the strongest of weapons power wise. Kinda like a license.

I advocate people build their kit around their play style. Probably the reason why my kits are more SF or deep recon. Similar to Ghost Recon Wildlands kits.

If we are talking your typical weekend rec ball. Then whatever floats your boat. Again boils down to rules. Some places have terrible rules for DMRs or none at all.

Some events hold you to the class, and heavily restricted. Not sure how I feel about those. On one hand, you are playing the role as it is intended, on the other you have to play a specific way which you may or may not like.

I have an Umarex beretta, full auto, holds 23 rounds, I carry 4 mags usually.
i like sniping in deep line of enemy, cut their lines and if you are not playing in the woods with full ghile camo then imagine yourself in middle of the field spotted and need to retrat to a safe position with a 20bb pistol.....
i got CM.127, and i am looking to p90 as infiltration weapon
I've been wanting to get a Bullpup as a sidearm. From what I've read they're nozzle is fairly shorter than AKs and AR/M4s, which should make it easier to pair it with a sniper rifle.

Some models that caught my intrest is: APS Newest Generation Kompetitor Advanced AUG KU MIL; G&G L85 with Electronic Trigger Unit Airsoft Electric Blowback; ICS L85 A2 Carbine Full Metal or WE L85 Bullpup Full Metal Airsoft Gas Blowback GBB.

I've heard some mixed reviews on them varying to their terrible to their just as good as any other assault rifle? If anyone has used or knows someone who has used them it would be great to hear some real world feedback.
Time to try STTI MK23 with foam disk supressor to see how silance work ( predator style)
I personally run AEP's such as the JG scorpion and the Elite force USP(TM clone AEP) and they are fantastic for such a "assault role" JG scorp can take a drum mag with 300+ rounds I just throw it on a one point and go. The Elite Force USP is by far my favorite smaller more compact can still go full auto and can accept TM spec made Lipos right out of the box and is very snappy I get about 130ft range straight out of the box with .25's but it won't lift anything past that unless modifying the hop up arm overall highly recommend it if trying to get away from gas pistols as I did I love gas pistols but they can be a hassle sometimes when they break.
AEP's do have their place. I have one and also a gas G17 and Mk23. The AEP is cool because of the full auto thing but range is very limited. Though lets face it, this is a sidearm. Meant for close up.

Exactly I only have a 100ft MED so if its anything over that I'll just use my vsr10
I personally play this same way.

I originally went for a boneyard mp5k. great in theory but the damage ended up being too extensive. but it's a really nice platform (since the mp5 is so popular lots of equipment and mags) so i ended finding the sowrdfish-K off evike (https://www.evike.com/products/45459/) and have been running that since. it's been a sturdy reliable little thing, a bit on the heavy side but it easily makes up for it with the small package that i can just whip out and start wasting fools from concealment
My back up to my MK23 assault side arm is a Dan Wesson 715 with 5 bb's in each chamber. It doesn't have the most FPS pushing out all those bb's at one time... but it's loud and scary and has a low chance of missing :-D
I think Marty Airsoft used a cyma ak47u with his vsr10.

i got Stti MK23 and P90, i use MK23 for stealth kills then, when situation start to stink i switch to P90 and start to retreat to my base.
My sniper friend uses the CYMA G18C AEP. Shoots relatively cold at 0.8J, but fires a wall of BBs at good accuracy and has a mag capacity of 100 or so. Small size and huge capacity with crazy RPS makes it quite the sniper sidearm if a bit boring.

I personally use the original Hi-Capa, previously no mods but recently upgraded with Autobot buckings and CJ barrel (though to be honest there isn't much performance gained since the original Hi-Capa is already super accurate).
Not only it's my only available pistol model outside of MK23, it's incredibly versatile as well (high capacity + high ROF + high accuracy). Netted a 50m kill and a few more because it's just damn good.

I do have an Mk23 but the fields I am in is unsuitable. Trigger pull is also heavy makes it not as good as a Capa to quickly save your bacon.

Tried using a P90 as sidearm……and TLDR it is not the best idea I can come up with
VFC/elite force MP7 AEG works well. I ran one with a 1 point sling secured to a gun clip on a battle belt. It’s small but packs a lot of fire power, it’s a great little gun.

I ended up selling if though. Decided I didn’t like carrying all the extra stuff and just run my pistol. If it doesn’t fit in my Haley DC3R-H or flat pack, it doesn’t come on the field.

If not a big expensive $$$
