I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong space, but please let me know what I should to do move it/where I should put it. Thanks!

I am interested in becoming an airsoft sniper and had some question about some upgrades.. I would appreciate your time and honest answers and I thank you in advanced.

Currently I want to get a JG Bar 10 with the upgrades below: (I have never installed anything or taken apart a gun before, but I have watched countless hours youtube videos, reading forums, etc, and believe I could do it. However, if it involves alteration of any upgrades, I may have difficulty so if you know if anything below needs to be altered, let me know if you know).

OR

Everything above, except no Deep Fire Sear Set or Laylax Red Piston and instead an AA Zero Triggerhttp://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=9273

I am also looking at a LAYLAX Spring Guide Stopper but can't find it in stock anywhere, is that necessary in either set up or no?

Thanks for your time again!

The Red piston is not only for the G-spec version, there are no parts that are exclusively only for the G-spec version, so don't worry!

I wouldn't buy barrel spacers though. Although they are very necessary to improve your accuracy, you can make them yourself. I made a full-length barrel spacer out of electrical tape.

Try looking around here on the forum too at DIY mods. People have put together guides on how to improve your FPS, how to shim your chamber, how to make the TDC adjuster and other mods which you will find of great use!

Thanks for the help, and ok sounds cool. I am glad to see the piston is universal and sounds cool about the homemade barrel spacers. Will the stock cylinder and cylinder head be sufficient in a low 500fps build?

Most definatly, I still use my stock cylinder and head in mine and its 10 years old now, though I have had to fit side-on strengthening screws in reasent months as the threads are starting to strip
