Hello,

Another question about my BAR10. I have 2 mags for my rifle. A 55RD double stack and the stock 30RD. With both mags, after a few shots, when I pull the cylinder back, a BB will get on top of the cylinder head and keep it from going all the way foreword. I then have to take out the mag, tilt the gun to get the BB out and I can continue, but it is a persistent issue. I have checked that my hopup is assembled correctly, and the cylinder is moving properly.

That would be a bad bb stopper in the hopup. Its the black plastic upside down U thing that moves up and down as the cylinder head moves in and out. They are supposed to stop the bb from exiting the hopup like it's doing to you. Its a cheap fix. Its even possible to smear a little super glue gell in the U part and build up just enough to bring it back to proper size. Havent tried it before, but I have seen it done.

Thanks! I thought that might be the problem, but I couldn't see any actual damage to that part. But, obviously, a small amount of invisible wear can cause problems.

Yeah, its pretty stupid. Can also check to see if the spring for it is functioning properly. Might be weaker than needed, and making it unable to stop the bb from rolling back as you pull the cylinder head back. I have had these stoppers fail a few times now, so annoying! I wonder if one made from metal would be better, but then you have that, scraping along the cylinder head making other issues lol.
