Hey guys,

My name is Joe and I live in London, I often look on this forum for things to with with the G&G G96, as I have a few problem but I never find what I'm looking for so I have decided to post it myself.

When i purchased my G96 and took it home, I was soon extremely disappointed as I had waited ages to get the gun. I only had .2 bb so I used them and began to fire. I noticed all the shots seemed to be going wide right and also high up, the hop up did nothing. I thought it may have been the light bbs, so I went out and bough madbull .38g bbs. Same thing. That was when I remembered reading up on someone buying this gun, which came with a bent inner barrel! Bazinga:cheers:! I took it out and, it was bent.

I'm now looking for a replacement Barrel and Hop up, I don't really want to have to do much like cut things down and change shape, I just want to be able to put them in the gun and go shoot some targets, not the shed two meters to the right of it,

Any help would be great, thanks, Joe

P.s would this barrel fit this hop up, and fit in the gun? This is all I could find. :shrug:

I dont think you would have to replace the hopup. just the inner barrel. I cant help with this rifle really cause I know nothing about it really. But, I do need to mention about you need to read the forums rules buddy.. After you read the rules, make an introduction post. Its not my rule, its the forums rule, and I just enforce these set rules for everyone.


Someone with knowlege of this rifle will chime in soon I believe.

This sucks! I've got the same issue with mine that I just received today! I'm trying to research this problem now. If you come up with anything let me know. And I'll do the same. So far it's looking like a return issue though.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that many people have complained about the hop on the G96 and for that reason, I'm going to upgrade it.

I know :doh:, I have looked into converting my hop up to VSR or kings Arms, if your thinking of doing the hop up too? Although I'm not too sure about the barrel:shrug:.

I have found a barrel that I think would fit the stock hop up although I'm not sure. It's in my original post.

i think you have to replace the nozzle. You have to drill out/destroy the g&g nozzle and glue tthe king arms nozztle into the bolt.

Yes that is the only problem, but I'm sure I'll be able to do that:tup:.
