I have the SHP5 and SHP7 in 60°. Damned postal service stole both my 70°s.
They're pretty solid, the closest to my 3 most successful R-hops I've completed, but without the cost, time, or effort.

I’ve been looking at the MAG5 and MAG7 somewhat hungrily for a little while, but I probably can’t justify buying more packings right now…

I've been meaning to order a few and the grease to try, good to see the MAG and SHP are the better ones, only needing to buy two types is better than three!

In case you are not informed. The 5 and 7 on the bucking is for the window size of your barrel. Not hardness.

Good lord shipping was a massive rip off. $42 for some buckings, vario piston head (it just looks neat, and controllable air leak so I can have 1.89j and 1.5j in the same AEG with less chance of PME is nifty), and ceramic grease. And they say 21-31 days to boot for that... I really can't stand DHL

Grabbed SHP 5 and 7, and Mag 5 in 60°, as well as VSR5 and 7 in 60. Set of TNT TR-Hop buckings as well to try, I've seen some good things with those and Kytheras + Maxx hops.

That’s why I haven’t ordered anything yet. Even Evike shipping is easier to deal with.

Just a side note, I played around with the Tr-hops + their S+ barrel a while back, and the main issue I ran into was massive overhop even with no tension. Depending on what BB weight you’re running this may be no problem, but I was still overhopping .32s well past usable levels…

That’s smart. Would love to have a place like Begadi here in the USA, but that’s the next best thing.
