I couldn't find a thread about this so I figured I would create one. What, in your opinion, is the best barrel, assuming all other factors (hopup, fps, etc...)are equal and unchangeable?

Don't worry about the fps.

Get your accuracy and consistency tuned first.

3. 6.03mm inner barrel

Either get a 6.01 or a 6.03, I have heard that the 6.01 barrels jam more but they will both increase the range/accuracy if you are going from a stock barrel. Go for a PDI one or a madbull.

Also, do what silentball said. Install the TDC mod.

thank you, I was looking at a madbull 6.03 and that clinched it. There doesn't happen to be a thread with all the mods like the TDC mod is there?

It is just a threaded hole above the hop up lever to adjust it.

I don't think there is another better way of doing it.

Here's the same TDC on my ASW338LM, but that is from the VFC factory (hole in rail closest to scope lens).

Shows you that gun makers are catching on to this DIY.
