Best TBB Diameter for Plinking

So 6.03m is best for distance. 6.01mm and lower is better for plinking at much closer ranges.

So... how about 6.00mm and below?

Diminishing returns or decrease in accuracy?

I go more for the 6.04+ now, seems to me it yeilds more accuracy at range. Tighter isnt better in my eyes anymore.
I find it so weird how Airsoft runs on a lot of physics principles to make a "better gun", but there's no hard numbers that will shut people up like me :D

I agree with you though. The bigger the better... just not too big ^_-
6.08mm is best for distance. ;)

And it depends on the ammo you use. Something like bioval's (under 5.95mm in diameter) will work brilliantly in 6.00 or tighter.

I have seen people with 2cm groupings at 200ft in indoor ranges with 6.00mm barrels though, but the accuracy is awful at anything further.
It seems like 6.03 is the perfect middle ground between range and accuracy. I can't stress this statement enough though; your hop-up and the mods to it will do a lot more for your gun than a new barrel. Sometimes I even keep the stock barrel and just polish it and it works perfect.
Agreed, 6.03mm is the best overall barrel. But I also hear 6.01 and perhaps lower may be more accurate close range (assuming you're comparing a barrel with the same manufacture and make quality.) Is this a myth?

What?! That's insane. I've never heard of such tight groupings at 200ft.

Do you have any details on the gun he has? Or atleast fps + bb's?
I have gotten 2cm groups at 200 feet (PDI 6.05), although I was running at about 800 fps, still, not hard.

Holy cow. What gun was that? I'm assuming 210 spring
It is more about your hop up than it is your barrel.

Now don't take that to mean that you can have a crap barrel. You still need a consistent inner bore diameter, but your bucking will come into major play as well. And this is why everyone NEEDS TO TUNE THEIR RIFLES!
Agreed. However, it is a million times easier at high fps with no hop.
Yes it is.... and I know ;)

As well as with a fixed hop up as well,
TDC all the way, fixed hop consistency with adjustability!
Haha. Wish I had a vsr-10 sometimes

If only there were a wider selection of sniper styles using the vsr-10 system...

Agreed. However, it is a million times easier at high fps with no hop.
Is there any way to do this without the bb rolling out when the muzzle is tilted down?

Could you giue me a link to a TDC quide? I can't find one.
I don't just do it to VSRs, all of my rifles have one. Armalites, everything.

Yeah, it is possible. Just turn the hop down all the way, I haven't had any issues with just doing that...
