Hey, well I am having problems deciding what I need most because of how I performed at my game last Saturday. The thing is I have no gear what so ever so that's one thing, also a sidearm because when I got well rushed in the trenches I had a SVD and was outmatched when it become close quarters. The other thing is a mosfet and lipo for better trigger response, I was using an 8.4v it was decent just not to my liking. Any help deciding which would be better first is appreciated. Also I have about a $200-$250 spending limit. The other thing was finding SVD mag pouches or something similar that would hold my mags.

A good sidearm is definitely worth the money. I have the option to upgrade my gun as well, right now, but I decided instead to get a dependable sidearm. They're a valuable tool, especially with a high fps setup.

Gunbroker.com is kind like the Gun version of Ebay, They usually have stuff like mag pouches, slings, scopes, wood or nylon stocksets, and the bipod for the real deal that you could use for your SVD.

Very cheap, real deal and holds two SVD magazines. I use one to carry 4 aps mags.

Off topic but did anyone notice that AS VAL AEG. First time I have ever seen one.

Do they have it anything other than ATACS?

Yeah, they have it in multicam, ATACS, FG ATACS, coyote brown, khaki, ranger green, OD green, woodland, and black.

Coyote, khaki, or OD. Just my opinion. What kind of fatigues do you wear? I like the Molle section.

That was the part I forget to put in here.. I wear DNC's, but in need of new fatigues I was going to go with KZS-1 or CADPAT.

My search yielded Flectarn, Flora, a soviet mesh sniper suit, and a dark digital camo. That's a hard one to choose and since they don't have a lot of browns in them OD would probably blend the best. ATACS and Multicam will stick out in comparison I believe.

Its a good idea to get some tactical gear, but it would be much smarter to get a good sidearm first. Although, with 200-250 dollars, you could probably get both.
If you want to stick with the Czech/Russian theme the KWA kz75 would be a great choice for a secondary.
