I haven't surfed or sailed before, it sounds very fun. Which do you like more? What kind of books do you read?

Surfing is good but you have to keep it up to stay good at it. I prefer sailing though. I have a seasafe dandy, just a small fiber glass boat. I am probably joining our local club so then I can sail the small but fast Topaz and Lasers. They are really fun on a windy day. Sandyauchting is dead fun too. Oh and sea canoeing is a very good work out.

I haven't read much over the past year but I plan to more over the summer, I like historical fiction/fact, star wars, war orientated, sea orientated and certain modern books telling good tails. I liked Don Quixote very much but I lost the book so I didn't get to finish it.

Sanyauchting is basically where you are on a three wheel buggy with a mast and sail. You control with the front wheel. Google it and you'll see. Also I have not read any of L.L ' s works.

I am just curious, what is sandyachting? It sounds like I have heard of it.

I Read alot of the same type books as you, just throw in some anime and biographies. Do you like Luis Lamour?

Oh I just read a really good book over this week. Vernon God Little. It's quite rude but very humorous and imaginative.

Sailing in a small boat and capsizing is fun. As is sailing on a biggerone and catching fish. I love Halo but I don't have the money to buy the books as all my funds are for airsoft at the moment.

I read the First strike and I am reading The Cole Protocol. My brother has the whole series so I lucked out. The series will keep me busy for a while, that is if I find time to.

You Capsized...ouch man. Any damages?

NO I meant sailing, you do it loads, that is with the small oats. You can't sink them. However when you capsize (Relly just fall over) in yachting it can hurt. I sprained a knee and an arm from a rough one.

Oh, sorry. My bad, It still must have hurt though. I just popped a tube on my bike after my game earlier today going off a kicker. Luckily no injury. But I did bent my rim.

When you first started sailing, was it difficult?

I already had a lot of experience with sailing when I started at the club so no it was not difficult. Capsizing does not hurt at all, only in sandyauchting. Basically learn how to sail the boat with someone else then learn how to set up the mast, mainsail, kicker, tiller and mainsheet. Then the Jib and finally the spinnaker if you deem yourself ready.

It really is a great, fun sport.
