Breathing
If you don't breath you will shake. There is a correct way to breath when shooting. Try this exercise --
Take a breathe.
Let it out.
While exhaling, notice that there is a point during exhale where you do not feel it necessary to to continue exhaling, or to start breathing in again.
Now try it again. This time when you get to that "place", stop breathing for a second or two. It's easy!
That is the place in your breath cycle you want to take your shot. Since you can only hold it a second, two at most, you must time the rise and fall of the rifle, the sight alignment & picture, and the trigger squeeze to coincide with that "place". Notice that when you inhale the muzzle of the rifle drops. It rises again when you exhale. When your chest expands your shoulder rises, your forearm that supports the rifle does not move so the muzzle drops. You must time this rise and fall so that the target is sighted at that "place".

i thought this would help several of whom dont get enough pratice with a real firearm enough to notice this, i believe its vital and proves a good point when taking shots.

what do you think?

not to bad of a little quide.... you could also for practice run around for a bit and do some push ups.. then shoulder your rilfe and shoot a few rounds.. then do it all over again. You should be able to keep your breathing down and just relax when you shoot. Give yourself a timelimit so you don't sit forever waiting for your body to adjust naturally.

After running and you are calmed down a bit... get your buddies to bring over there cars and blast some music. Have them yelling at your pushing you around and hassling you. This will get you to focus on your target and not what is around you. We did this while giving IVs on a moving bus. ;)

Do these a few times and you should be able to shoot in any envrionment.

lol yeah that was when we were getting ready to head over here to iraq... we actually got a few of them that took
so that was good.

But a really good way to get your breathing down is to stress yourself out and then go shoot.. train yourself how to shoot when stressed..

hmmmmm thats a good idea of training =) i enjoy using my driveway to up and down once then try to see how my aim works out, also note that its a good idea to run with your equipment or atleast your main rifle (i use a prop rifle and switch it with my real one before i shoot) therefore it gets you used to holding it
