Bucking Hardness/advice

They can wear down faster, in theory.

I've never even had a 50 degree bucking wear down after 1000's of shots. So I wouldn't worry too much about durability unless you're doing some super soft R Hops. Even then, if everything is installed correctly and there's no rubbing of the nozzle on the rubber, then the rubber should still last a very long time.

I have everything from 1J to 4J guns.

I've run a 60 degree on my 4J VSR for a while now. No issues. I run 50 degree on my gas pistols which shoot 1-1.5J. I don't use the 50 because the energy is low, I use it because the gas cools the bucking and the soft rubber will stay more pliable.
