Kind of pointless for me because I can`t find any shooting competitions near me but its get for training, looking bad A, and I`ll try to start some between friends.

So of course as the title says I`m building a race pistol.
My base pistol is a 1911 Hicapa by KJW which is amazing. Sending bbs 160 feet easy.

Tell me what parts would be the best and what would work great. I need it too look bad A too.

Okay things I`m going to start doing in order of when I`m going to do it.
1.Tune the sear and hammer set for short trigger pull (DONE) Also engraving my name on it lol (Done)
2. Cut the barrel and port it. Glock style( Will do tommorow or yeah...)
3. Cut a prototype slide design. Heavy ported. Getting ideas from Lazouche. Going to be a TM stock slide.
4. If all works properly. Short stroking with go in progess. If it works majestically. Will be switch to a metal slide.
5. Metal slide will be ported.
6. Rail mount and a red dot will be acquired. Along with a new handgrip, IPSC looking screws, Magwell maybe... , and a charging handle.
7. After funds are up. I will sell my l96. Get a snappier bbh and loading nozzle and light weight sears.
8. Get accuracy set up.
9. Training.
10. Field it train and pwn.

Tell me what part I should get that you reccomdend and if this would be nice. Thanks for reading and helping.
As you can tell I like working on pistols alot.

Read up on ASF, they have massive amounts of information with regards to hicapa builds, but the majority agrees that if you go Nova, Prog4, and Airsoft Surgeon that you are set.

It takes too much money to built(mine took over $1000) and time to tune it.
The slide speed is phenomenal!!
I want to built one some day for skirmishing with open sights and no compensator of course...

Nice Wolf!! Could you send me a pic? I plan on building a 6" custom hi capa but I don't know too many people that have used a 6" slide with a 6" LDC lower receiver before. I have a list of all the parts I know will work but the only issue I am having is finding a recoil spring for it. I was thinking of using a stiff spring for the 5.1 or using a special short stroke spring for the 5.1. Would that work?
Also I was thinking in the near future to build a 4.3 but I was only going to do it if I could get my hands on a gold finished outer barrel. I found one made by AIP but the trades are horrible and the gold finish is to vibrant. Any ideas where I can get a 4.3 gold outer?

You can ask Captain KK at ProG4 but if he's bussy you'll wait several months!!

I don't have a recent photo of it ... I'll take some if you want.

Basically this is a 6.5 inch pistol... I didn't like race pistols so much but I handled one and I want one for me...
I was thinking to built an Infinity Hero for skirmishing but I don't fell I want to spent so much again...
I have a TM Hi capa dual stainless sitting around but I haven't decided what I'll do with it...
I'll wait to see if I can find a good kit at a good price.

nice george, was it difficult mounting that sight rail, did you nee to tap and thread the holes or was it a predrilled body.

Nelson I also am building one out of one of my kjw's, not on the front burner for me so it is a back shelf project that I put together piece at a time. I will be interested to see updates of yours.

Yes I drilled and tapped the frame to fit the scope mount... You need to do that on all mounts.

I know but its hard to get 3 perfect level holes for me. I should start punching a hole first. Problem is my drill isn`t strong enogh to go through my reciver.

Actually you need to get 5 level holes!The scope mount I have has 3 holes from one side and 2 on the other. Check the photo's.

No I have the slide ride mounted on a ProG4 mount.
The serendipity is attached to a mount, you can't take out just the red dot.

Do you guys want a picture update or a video update? I`ll do one soon. Yeah I know what a CMORE sight is. I always had this question. Whats the point of having a metal plate infront of the sight?

This for the real guns...
They have a very big compensator and that protects the scope from the fumes!

Oh okay. HOw you get the barrel to show in the upper? Did you cut it or just buy it like that?

I bought it like that... Most of the IPSC open class pistols are like this... I wanted an IMM without the cocking handle and here it is!

Many laughed at me for the lack of handle but this way it's dissasembled very easy... If you have the cocking handle you should first remove the scope mount

Basically this is my favourite..

WOw thats pretty nice. Needs more bedazzle to it. Need like more color. Well I`m going to port my slide. BTW this is whatI`m also porting what do you think should I do it? You know where the spring guide is you know that little thing that holds the thing the holds the spring. Umm when you take off the slide the bottom front of the slide. Hopefully you know what I trying to call it lol. I`m thinking of porting it what do you think?
