Hi there,

After lurking on this forum for quite some time i have finaly decided to make an account. After completing my AEG DMR, upgrading almost everything, i kinda miss building something. Thats why i have decided to build a TM VSR10 with the Wolverine Bolt and Wolverine CO2 Adapter. I do not run an air tank, regulator, etc. and i realy love having HPA without having to carry a tank as a sniper.

I have seen 2 TM VSR-10's which i can buy for €450-€500 and i wonder which parts become obsolete when installing the Wolverine Bolt. The specs of the 2 VSR's are as follows:

Tokyo Marui VSR-10 G-Spec
- PDI VSR-10 V-Trigger V2
- PDI VSR-10 Precision cilinder set
- PDI VSR-10 Receiver
- PDI VSR-10 01 Inner barrel 303mm (6.01mm)
- PDI VSR-10 Inner Barrel Spacer Set

Comes with: - Walther ZF3-9x44 sniper scope
- 3x TM 30rd Mags
- Reserve spring

Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro
- Action Army Teflon Cylinder
- Action Army M150 Spring (geknipt naar 488 fps)
- Action Army Spring Guide
- Action Army Piston
- Action Army 90° Trigger
- Action Army Hop-Up Chamber
- Action Army 6.03mm Inner Barrel
- Maple Leaf Diamond Bucking (60°)
- Maple Leaf Hop-Up Tensioner
- Action Army Outer Barrel
- Action Army Receiver
- Swiss Arms 4x40 scope
-Teflon Tape mod and Barrel Spacers mod.

comes with: Bag, Extra AA barrel, Standard TM receiver and outer barrel, geoff's bbs'.40 and .43

I like the looks of the Gspec more, but the pro version seems to be better upgraded and like €50 cheaper. But if i decided to build a new TM VSR-10 Gspec and install the wolverine bold and wraith CO2 set, what more is needed to get the same specs as above? Is it just the hopup chamber, bucking+nub and outer barrel that i need?

I also have a question regarding Joule creep, i wonder if it is possible to acquire some with the Wolverine Bolt+Wraith CO2 stock, or is that only doable with a normal HPA tank and regulator? I am limited to 500fps with .20 and want the best FPS possible with .40's, because of the bb's hitting the target quicker.

Thanks in advance for the help!
Greetings,

CO2 normally creeps far more than HPA. So if you're aiming for creep, that's the way.

As for the upgrades, with the BOLT system you don't need any upgrades on the trigger, it actually becomes just a switch when you install the system. So at least half of both those rifle's upgrades are unnecessary.

In your place, I'd just go with a brand new JG BAR-10, toss in AA chamber + Autobot bucking + Crazy Jet barrel + concave nub, install the BOLT + WRAITH, and enjoy what is (most likely) the very best possible sniper rifle in all of airsoft (if you can deal with that ridiculously short bolt pull and dead trigger, which I cannot)

Thanks alot for the help, i ordered the JG VSR-10 G-Spec with scope right away and added the autobot 60degrees rubber. The barrel, nub and AA hopup unit will be ordered from another site. I will keep this posts for updates and questions regarding my build.

I'm very happy with my desicion to build the rifle by myself, it gives alot more satisfaction then buying one and its got to get to know the rifle is something breaks.

My JG Bar10 Gspec arrived from Tsjech today and it looks and feels realy good. It shoots better than expected for the 350fps it has with .20's. Just ordered the following parts from skirmshop:

Action Army GSPEC VSR10 Inner barrel Spacer set
Action Army VSR-10 Hop-up Chamber
Maple Leaf 428mm Crazy Jet Inner Barrel for VSR MARUI VSR-10 FN-SPR

I reciever the autobot bucking and concave nub earlier so i should be set when this and my Wolverine bolt arrives:)

I guess i have to drill out the silencer for the barrel to fit tho?

I asked advice earlier in another post about an offset scope, since my right eye is bad. Today i tried the offset mount that i had with the scope rings that came with the Bar10, and it works great:) I've ordered 1 more offset mount and 2 high rised scope rings, that should work out pretty well:)

My Wolverine Bolt and Wraith came in yesterday and i installed it straight away without to many problems. When disassembling my rifle i found my bucking badly damaged, probably by the nozzle from the stock jg bar10. I am not sure how wolverine bolt nozzle will affect my new bucking (ordered today) so wonder what i can do to prevent this from happening again.

Also, when i hold down the trigger i can hear some air escaping, and when i put my finger on the end of the inner barrel air escapes fairly quickly from other parts of the rifle. This is something i will need to look into.

Because of my damaged hopup my shots arn't so accurate atm but i am pretty sure it will with a new bucking (ordered the 75degree this time btw) it will be amazing.

Here are my FPS recordings so far, some decent joule creep:
130 PSI
.20 .43
448 fps 1.88J 347 fps 2.45J

180 PSI
.20 .43
495 fps 2.28J 405 fps 3.28J

Another thing that i found odd was the supressor. I filled the stock supressor with 3 pieces of foam with space in between, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all. The rifle is still very load, even at 130 PSI. There is atleast 8cm of space from the end of the inner barrel to the end of the supressor.
