Im posting this because i could not find a thread already addressing the views on bullpup snipers. ive always been fascinated by them but ive never actually seen an airsoft one in person. i realize many people view bullpups as ineffective due to the fact that most are not ambidextrous, but even with ambidextrous gun im unable to shoot lefty, so this really isnt an issue for me. ive been considering doing a DMR build based off of an AUG or a Tavor. Thoughts and Concerns?

Wish I could find a complete DRS-1...just recently got my hands on a WA2k. I love bullpup rifles, and am trying to obtain all the bullpup sniper rifles. Just gonna take me a long time since I have to pay for school and what not.

I wish someone would get off their ass and make a DTA SRS. Dobey made one but apparently not very well from what I have read (functionally at least, aesthetically it wasn't half bad). Looking at a DTA stock and trying to figure out if I could drop a VSR onto it. Its not looking good.

I have played with and worked on an Ares Tar 21 at first it seemed like a decent gun and then I took it apart. After going through tons of work just to get the gearbox out I realized that the gearbox was designed specifically for the Tar 21 by Ares and guess what, it is PLASTIC. And, because it is from Ares and it has the special gearbox it is impossible to find an after-market gearbox for it. As far as externals went it is nice, it is ambidextrous and it felt good when aiming down the sights. If you by a Tavor do not buy it from Ares.

Just to tickle your bb's....

you should go to the IWA in germany. Its basically a shotshow for hunting, military and a bit of airsoft. KWA, Realsword, Cybergun, ASG, ICS, WE-Tech and more are there to display the beauties.

Thats where i got to hold the SVD GBB version prototype ! The year before, the ASW338LM Prototype number 2 was there.

Also regarding Bullpup...i just dont like the ergonomics, besides the nice balance point it creates.
