Would a APS2 300% spring work in a CA M24? I just don't want to get it and have it not fit in my rifle.

Thanks but how would I reduce the FPS if its too high? I play in a field and 550FPS is the max.
Please put a link to the spring in question. A typical 100% spring will be far under 550 FPS usually ~300 FPS.
Man I'm sorry. I meant a 300% spring.
To reduce the power, cut one coil off at a time and use a file to sand the spot that you cut so that it's smooth. Make sure you do one coil at a time though until you get your desired FPS.
How much FPS would one cut off coil reduce? Estimate.
So i just bought it and it doesn't fit. Damn it!

You sure you got an APS2 spring and not an SR2 spring? Or a different spring?
The spring wont go in the piston. Its a little bigger than the stock spring.

Is it PDI in brand? That would be your problem.
If I'm not mistaken, there are two types of CA Pistons and springs. I believe that the 300% spring is designed to go with their upgraded piston, which is why its not fitting.
