I have a CA M24 (military). I just installed a 6.03 tight bore and the Classic Army 300% cylinder/spring kit. Thank you, by the way, for the M24 take down guide thread--it made it possible for me to install the upgrades.
The bolt action is much more difficult now. There is also about an inch or so gap between the bolt handle piece and the back (screw down) piece of the bolt.
After installing these upgrades, I was looking for velocity in the 520 fps to 550 fps range using a .20 BB. Instead, I'm hitting about 378 fps ???. This is only a little better than my CA M24 was shooting stock.
I have not yet adjusted the hop-up for the new upgrades.
This doesn't seem right, compared to the other threads I've read in this section.
I'm new to all of this so I would appreciate any and all suggestions/thoughts/"What the hell did you do wrong?" insights.
Thank you, in advance, for your courtesies,
Joe
