CA M24 Upgrades

Hi all,

I just recently purchased a CA M24 Military type. I'm looking to upgrade the SWS to shoot about 550 fps and/or over. I've been doing some research and have noticed that many of the parts used in APS 2s can be used in M24s. However, my problem is that I'm not sure exactly which parts would work in an M24 and which wouldn't. I'd hate to start purchasing parts to only later realize that they're not compatible.

So with that, I was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction, as far as, which parts they would recommend to start building upon my platform.

Welcome to the forums mate, a quick and simple upgrade would be the CA 300% drop in Cylinder kit, it'll get ya right around the 525-550 mark. Another thing to invest in would be a PDI Hop-Up, welcome to the forums.

Yeah, Dutton is pretty much the guru when it comes to that stuff, as he's got all three top end rifles I believe (Maruzen L96, APS-2, and CAM24) so I'm sure he knows his stuff the best, but you really won't need to upgrade your trigger assembly if you drop that 300% cilinder in there. You'll find that the stock trigger assembly is pretty strong, because I know Blindshot (one of my team's sniper) shoots the exact same modification and he's got absolutly no problem with it so far.

The DB Custom barrels are nice, don't get me wrong, but one "lemon" bb or one with a scratch, and you can kiss it goodbye. Unless your personally check each and every bb that you shoot, I wouldn't reccomend, you won't see much of a difference from .02mm however with that extra room if a grain of sand or dirt were to fall in it wouldn't completely ruin the barrel.

Looks pretty cool, but if you look to the left there is a thing that says english and has a british flag on it. That should convert it on over.
