I got myself a CA25 a few months ago but the crappy battery I had for my p90 gave out about 100 ish rounds into it. I am this close to selling it but I am contemplating keeping it and making an awesome dmr out of it. My question to you is how much money are we looking at for this gun to hit a torso at 250' consistently.

You should start by reading this sticky about DMRs. But if there's one thing I know about making a AEG perform like a bolt action is that you want the smallest variation in FPS, so first thing is to sort is your compression parts.
The whole gearbox is a v2.5 so you wouldn't be able to get rid of the elongated cylinder. (I believe)
Okie dokie. I have another question I know you can cut off a coil on a basr to help silence the weapon even more. Does that work on aeg? Also can you do the cylinder funnel thing on an aeg. Finally is the Prometheus chamber worth the money?

I've never heard of cutting a coil off a spring to silence a gun but to lower the FPS. As for the cylinder 'funnel'? I have no idea what you're referring to maybe someone will chime in to help you with that. As for the new hop up chamber, aeg wise you really never need to get a new one unless the chamber itself is broken.

IMO no you wouldn't be able to do that with a AEG cylinder head, have you ever been inside a GB? Not trying to come off rude just curious.. As for cutting the spring I don't think that would even work, if you want to dampen the sound of the piston hitting the cylinder head you can use a sorbo pad.

By your post you make it sound like by cutting one coil off it eliminates the piston head hitting the cylinder head? I'm saying that you'll get a more noticeable difference in sound by using a sorbo than just cutting a coil off the spring.

As for the "funnel thing"
If you correct your AOE with rubber washers, than it may be thick enough to carve a cone shape into. I tried to get a cone shape using silicone, but a bit too difficult.
And by 'get rid of' I meant to not get rid of the gun.
