Not got enough time to make a rag for your gun?

Why not resort to Camo Tape?

Pros

  • Very good camo, can select for your environment.[/*:m:jvx1adly]
  • Can change the outline of the rifle ... Works especially well [/*:m:jvx1adly]
    with a few elastic bands to add vegetation.
  • Very quick to do.[/*:m:jvx1adly]
  • Relatively cheap[/*:m:jvx1adly]

Cons

  • Not as attractive as a bare rifle, may choose to loose pretty aesthetics of the stock.[/*:m:jvx1adly]
  • Can unwind itself over time which is a nuiscance[/*:m:jvx1adly]

Heres some great advice if you do plan on using tape, don't worry about the adhesive of the tape leaving the stock sticky and ugly when you remove the tape. A quick rub with good old WD40 will sort that out in no time.

Feel free to discuss your own experiences and little tricks etc.

@inthetallgrass - Maybe I should become a salesman haha ;)

The advantage over painting for some people I guess is it's a non permenant way of
camoing a base layer ... A big bonus for people with wooden stocks.

Very good shout on the stock front, it can also be built up to make a sort of cheek pad on the stock of an SPR which is nice if anyone fancies trying it.
