Hello everyone, after a long break I'm looking at getting back into airsoft, ideally I'm going to be purchasing a g-spec vsr10 or bar10 however this time (had a few snipers previously) I'm going to put a lot of time into tuning it and getting it how I want, rather than chucking in upgrades and expecting it to be perfect right away..
I've been looking at quite a lot of mods that improve range an accuracy, first off I think I'm gonna have to stick with the R-hop mod rather than ER, at first I thought the later could be done with just a file but I believe I have misunderstood a guide as many others say a mill is required... However I think the R hop will still be sufficient and an easier install for myself with no access to workshop machinery.
Next I've been researching into the LRB mod, hunter has put up a very good guide on these forums, however ideally I'd like to keep the g spec at its original size, possibly extending the barrel through the silencer. Whereas hunter puts an additional PVC makeshift silencer and fits the screw for putting pressure on the barrel within, however I stumbled a cross shape ways website where I found the seller chaos241 who I believe is in connection with HSA, he sells an EZ-LRB, however the description of the product is hard to understand with only a CAD image, and there are next to no guides on google that I could find! So if anyone has pictures of an install or how it works that would be brill.
As for the gun itself I'm considering getting a 6.04 barrel (possibly vsr type by dpi, or modify the stock chamber to fit aeg and use a mad bull barrel - not sure if the dpi one is too tough for the lrb mod?). Currently unsure of the bucking to use, but if possible I will try to perform a makeshift ABB mod for consistency.. (is his possible with Rhop?) and I've looked at the pdi hop chamber however I don't think this works with the TDC mod, if this is the case I'll try get my hands on the TM pro precision hop unit, or possibly angel custom cnc chamber.. not too many reviews on this however. As for the hop arm I've heard good things about the dangerwerx type B, if I use this would I still need the Mnub, I believe this arm works as a nub?
As for the cylinder, unless I can get a polar star piston, I'm probably going to get the HD pdi palsonite set, and then if compatible eventually a zero trigger (previously had the v trigger and wasn't overly impressed).
